Please contact me if you would like to schedule a consultation for your practice or clinic.  I offer the following services:

Program evaluation consulting to fertility clinics on best psychological practices to conform with American Association of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM standards).  I am a current ASRM member and remain current with newly published research and techniques.

I can offer the following 8 Therapy Groups or informational group sessions to your patients at your clinic in person or via a Hangout on Air (live with viewer participation and later recorded for your clinic’s use), or other groups tailored to your clinic’s needs:

  • 10 Session Mind-Body Fertility Series (research-proven to alleviate current mental health symptoms and increase fertility rates: 55% pregnancy rate for treatment group vs 20% control group)
  • General Infertility Support Group
  • Relaxation Training
  • Fertility and Mental Health 101
  • Coping over the Holidays
  • Overcoming IVF Treatment Stress
  • Setting Appropriate Boundaries with Family/Friends
  • Self-Care and Fertility

I can also provide Staff Workshops on:

  • Working with the Difficult Patient
  • Avoiding Burnout in Reproductive Medicine
  • Fostering Staff Group Cohesion

I can additionally provide staff consultation services/training if you are interested in cultural competence working with either a high LDS population (relatively common in the states of UT, CA, ID, NV, even Washington DC), or for competence more generally with clients coming from religious backgrounds, on the spirituality/fertility nexus.  As you have likely already seen, religious patients tend to approach coping with infertility from a unique perspective, and I can help you harness those strengths as well as cultural sensitivities to be aware of.

Within-the-hour, free mini-crisis management session  (phone call or facetime session for apple/iphone users) to patients who come in for a prenatal ultrasound ~ but no heartbeat is seen. It is crucial when patients receive such unexpected devastating news, to have at least a few minutes to talk, make a plan as to how they can cope over the next few days and learn how to deal with the reactions of others. I have published on bereavement research, and wrote my dissertation that consisted of interviewing loved ones of suicide victims, and am trained to offer such services to your patients.
